I keep thinking about what Doug Gillespie did… it’s sickening. Firstly, there is an obvious conflict of interest! All of what he did was illegal and his deal to build apartments on his property should be annulled. I think we should get state Attorney General involved. $8K fine… are you kidding me?! I also don’t believe that our town hall officials had no idea of what was going. I remember when conservation committee approved generators to be build on the historical Highland St. These folks don’t care about town or its people.
There is too much graft going on in Weston with long term arrogant people running the show who could care less about anyone questioning their often flawed decision making process.
I think it’s time to fight the state house. These mandates and the traffic they cause are horrible. And what has been found is that it never actually decreases the costs of housing. Unintended consequences of government intervention.
Milton basically lost the battle with the state, so 3A HAS to be implemented in all towns along the MBTA, even though we voted it down, we were buying time to see what happened in the Milton case.
40b and this project have nothing to do with the 3A MBTA rezoning land grab by the State.
This is a direct result of our Town Planner being pro- huge multi unit housing development, who has spoken out and exposing his disdain for our rural character and privileged, high net worth residents. He does not represent Weston’s interests.
He talks large property owners into huge 40bs When the owners would never have dreamt of such a project. He should be fired
There is a misperception going around re: the Court’s decision in the Milton case. We do not have to rush to move forward Residents should stand up against our Planning Board and tell them to have our lawyers file a motion in opposition challenging further compliance by our Town. Period
There was no voting it down. All we did was vote to NOT create special zoning to control how they see built i believe. The time to have voted was to get Charlie baker to have vetoed the bill

This is the Democrat corruption in plain sight.

I thought all this had been avoided whatsoever happening ? didn't we all voted the MBTA thing down and the building down as well ...?!

Is this really going to go through? Will construction really start?
